Barry Shafran
Strategic Advisor to the BoardSince the start of his career with a major international firm, to his recent retirement from his position as Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Chesswood Group Limited, a public financial services business listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Mr. Shafran has a wide range of experience. With expertise in strategic planning, the design and implementation of growth strategies including mergers and acquisitions, finance, treasury and operational effectiveness Mr. Shafran has led multiple businesses successfully. He also has extensive experience in change management and raising capital, publically and privately. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Mr. Shafran also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto.
