
Greg Brown
Mergers and Acquisitions Associate, AutomotiveGreg has a diverse background has a entrepreneur, investor, manager, military officer, and volunteer.
He attended college on a ROTC Scholarship and became a Military Pilot after graduating from college. Following the military he entered the OEM world starting with Toyota and finishing with Nissan. In eleven years of OEM work, he held fourteen different management positions, coast to coast, with active involvement with dealer networks.
In 2011 Greg along with a partner, founded Ford Lincoln of Franklin (Nashville Metro). He ran the dealership as the Managing Partner and attained Ford’s highest award for sales (Top Volume Leadership Summit), and became a Presidents Award (Customer Satisfaction) winner. Greg also held minority investments in VW of Clarksville (Louisville Metro) and Reddick Brown Ford in Tennessee. He finished divesting his dealership interests in Q1 2021.
In 2016, Greg’s son Ryan sold his startup company to Verizon. Shortly after, in 2017 Greg, Ryan, and Greg’s wife Ashley created a Family Office (GRA-LLC) that focuses on pre-seed and seed investments in startup company’s, along with equity positions in commercial real estate projects.
Greg has volunteered on multiple mission trips since 2008, serving in Africa, the EU, and South America. In April 2022, he joined 17 other military veterans and helped rescue stranded refugees after the Kramatorsk Train Station Bombing in Eastern Ukraine.
Greg is excited to be apart of DSMA and hopes to use his automotive contacts and experience to add to the deep bench that DSMA has developed. His area of responsibility includes KY WV TN MS LA.
